VIAZUNO / Policies and disclosures
Ranking Methodology
In compliance with the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA Regulation 2022/2065, Article 27) regarding algorithmic and ranking transparency, this document describes the parameters used by VIAZUNO to organize travel data and search options.
1. European Digital Services Act (DSA) Algorithmic Transparency
The European DSA mandates that online platforms explain the main parameters determining the ranking of information presented to consumers. VIAZUNO believes in full transparency regarding how results are ordered across our destination guides, transport observations, and partner search tools.
2. Destination & Accommodation Ranking Criteria
VIAZUNO's recorded hotel lists use a stable name order. Where a car or offer sort control is shown, its selected label describes the ordering, such as category, observation time, or price. Price comparisons require compatible offer details and currency.
- Destination Catalog Sorting: When browsing countries, destinations are organized alphabetically by default or alphabetically by localized name. Users can toggle ascending or descending sorting directly.
- Transport Options: Displayed based on verified proximity, transit mode practicality (e.g., direct metro connection vs. taxi), and confirmed operating documentation from municipal transit authorities.
- Hotel & Accommodation Records: Displayed in deterministic alphabetical order to eliminate arbitrary favoritism.
3. Strict No-Pay-For-Rank Policy
Destination and search guidance reflect the available reviewed information, not a comprehensive comparison of every travel provider. Missing facts are not treated as positive ranking signals, and commission is not a ranking factor. VIAZUNO does not sell top positions, sponsored sorting boosts, or biased search prominence. A higher affiliate commission will never alter an entity's rank.
4. Distinct Rules for Embedded Partner Results
Results inside a partner's accommodation, flight, or car search follow that partner's ordering and availability rules. Those results are not VIAZUNO's own live inventory or an editorial ranking. When interacting with partner tools (such as KKday or Aviasales), sorting is governed by the partner's independent inventory algorithms.
